The masthead is in the top left corner of the page in bold writing. This is the same font that is used on physical copies, creating an obvious link between both. The focus of the page is an image surround the main cover line. The photo is a picture of a music artist with the main cover line saying ‘Amaarae: “music is the only place where I get to be as vulnerable as I possibly can”’. Below this is a short summary of the storyline for this copy. Towards the right-hand side of the page is 5 smaller coverlines with supporting images.  The colour scheme is relatively basic being black and white making the main image, being bright, stand out. Next to the masthead is titles that lead to different areas of the website. Below this is a trending bar which takes you to trending sections. As you scroll down the page there is other sections such as album reviews and gig reviews. This creates an active audience as it allows their audience to get involved and give their input. The layout of the whole page is very neat and simplistic, with many links to other sections, making it easy for an audience to find their way around. The primary target audience of this magazine would be younger males aged 16-35. The secondary target audience for this magazine is females and older people with interest in this genre of magazine.

Underneath the masthead is titles that will take you to different areas of the website. Below tis is a set of trending arears such as the ‘billboard hot 100’. The focus of the page is a large image of the celebrity, Sabrina Carpenter, with the main coverline at the bottom. This stands out compared to the rest of the page due to the bright pink colour scheme of the picture. Towards the left of the page is smaller images and cover lines. To the right of the main image is the latest news column that people can access to see the full storyline. At the bottom of the page is a hot 100 sections, displaying all the most popular songs and artists at the time. As you scroll down the page, there is more sections including features, videos, popular channels and more. This is important for them to keep up with pop culture as that is the main genre of the magazine. The colour scheme of the page is simplistic, being black and white. However, all photos used are colourful. This is effective as it draws more attention to the coverlines and important sections. The primary target audience for this paper would be a young audience with varieties of music tastes due to the coverage of most genres. However, it could be argued that pop culture is covered the most. The secondary target audience would be a slightly older audience.

Along the same bar is sections that take you to different areas of the website. The focus of the page is the front cover of their latest magazine. Beneath this is the number of the copy and the selling date. They also have a selling line explaining that there is a free CD inside. This allows them to attract a larger audience as it is an incentive to buy the magazine. Down the right side of the page is two cover lines and image, one being a news article and the other being best albums of the year. The colour scheme and theme of the magazine Is simplistic and older fashioned than others. As you scroll down the page, there is more sections including latest magazines, latest storylines and latest news articles. These will all be catered towards their target audience. The primary target audience of this magazine is anyone above the age of 30-45 due to the nature of the paper being old fashioned. The secondary target audience would be anyone younger who has interest in these genres of music.
